A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter Scale hit Gajapati district in the southern part of the State today morning.
According to information shared by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the earthquake was experienced at 9:46 am on Wednesday.
The epicentre of the quake was about 5 kms below ground, the IMD data revealed. No casualties or damages have been reported due to the jolts today.
