A very well known mountaineer of India, hailing from Odisha Sidharth Routray has recently scaled up Mount Everest. Sidharth Routray currently resides in the USA and is the son of Congress veteran and Jatni MLA Suresh Routray. Sidharth made Odisha as well as India proud when he conquered Mount Everest yesterday at around 4 am.
He had carried a photo of Lord Jagannath with him and waived the Indian flag and ‘Patitapabana Bana’ of the Lord on reaching the peak, reports said. Earlier, Sidharth had scaled top 3 peaks in three continents of North America, South America and Africa. Sidharth, who resides in Folsom, California with his wife Anita Misra and two daughters.
