Recently, the account of outgoing President Donald Trump has been permanently banned for violence in the U.S. Capitol (Capital Building). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the world’s most active politician on Twitter since Trump’s account was closed.
Narendra Modi now has 64.7 million followers on Twitter, while Trump had 88.7 million followers. However, then-US President Barack Obama now has 127.9 million followers. Which is the maximum. However, he is not so active on Twitter. As Narendra Modi is often more active on Twitter, he has now become one of the most active politicians on Twitter.
Similarly, newly elected US President Joe Biden has 23.3 million followers, while Indian Home Minister Amit Shah has 27.2 million followers. Similarly, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has 21.2 million followers.
Notably, violence has erupted in the U.S. House of Representatives. Four Trump supporters were shot dead by police and more than 50 protesters arrested. Facebook has since temporarily blocked Trump’s account, accusing it of inciting violence. Snapchat, Spotify and many others have also banned Trump permanently.
