Naveen Jindal, the chairman of Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) and a third-time member of parliament representing Kurukshetra Lok Sabha, made courtesy calls to Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan today.
An official press release states that the JSP’s ongoing projects in Odisha were discussed during the meeting. The Chief Minister was briefed by Jindal on the Angul Steel Plant’s phased expansion to 25.2 MTPA, which will make it the largest steel plant in the world at one place. The Chief Minister praised JSP’s initiatives to advance Odisha’s industrial growth. Jindal promised that the JSP would keep working together with the Odisha government and people to develop the state holistically and industry-led.
