Odisha bagged the third position in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge-2021 to which Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded the entire team of high school students from Odisha.
According to the report, the team created as part of the Navonmesh Prasar Student Astronomy Team (NaPSAT) had designed a rover that can move on the surface of Mars for the global competition. Unexpectedly, this was the first-ever high school team to represent India at the competition that was held in Alabama, the US earlier this month.
The report further added that the team also won the Videography Award in the prestigious competition.
While congratulating the entire team Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik via Twitter by quoting- “Congratulate @NaPSATIndia on winning laurels for #Odisha by securing the third position in @NASA @RoverChallenge.
