Puri ,March 4: In odisha’s Puri Districts, Police caught nine Non-Hindus, while entering Jagannath Temple on this Sunday.
According to sources All nine are the residents of Bangladesh and they were used to stay at puri hotel. Among Of them ,Four reportedly entered the 12th-century shrine while the other five persons were found outside ,sources Informed.
The police detained them while they are entering to jaganaath temple, where cops also seized their passports and detained them. Notably, its strictly prohibited that Non-Hindus are barred from entering the Jagannath Temple. Five Non-Hindus are found at the heritage corridor of jagannath temple today. According to sources it was found that four of their friends had entered the temple. And immediately taken to singhdwara police station.
Police officials detained them and launched a probe, We urge the cops and the districts administrations to step up security at the shrine, Shantunu Pandey, A vishva Hindu Prishad-Bajarang Dal Activist from puri.
Singhadwara Police said ,It has been alleged that ,Some Non-Hindus entered the Puri Jagannath temple. We detained them, and taking actions, We are also verifying their personal Documents as well, Singhadwara Officials Informed.
