Notifications for the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections have been released by the Indian Election Commission. On June 1, voters in 57 Lok Sabha seats located in seven states, including six in Odisha, and one Union territory will cast ballots in this phase. The remaining seats come from nine West Bengal seats, eight Bihar seats, four Himachal Pradesh seats, three Jharkhand seats, one Chandigarh Union territory seat, and thirteen seats each from Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
May 14 is the cutoff date for nominations, and May 17 is the deadline for withdrawals. In this phase, the following Odisha constituencies will go to polls: Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, and Jagatsinghpur. Voting for the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha will take place in parallel throughout the state on May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1.
