Odia TV serial actress Rashmirekha Ojha allegedly hanged herself at her house in the Gadasahi area under Nayapalli police station in Bhubaneswar. The incident happened on June 18 night when the police informed that a note was kept on a table in the house and it is suspected that it was written by the actress.
Rashmirekha, who was from Sanketpatana in Jagatsinghpur district, came to Bhubaneswar after completing +2 to pursue a career in acting. She became popular in ‘Kemiti Kahibi Kaha’.
According to the official reports, the note mentions that no one should be held responsible for her death. The reason behind her taking the extreme step is not known yet. The police further informed that the cause of death can be ascertained from the post-mortem report.
