An Odia teenager played a key role in the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3, India’s third moon mission, in a memorable moment for Odisha. The major accomplishment is a source of pride for all Indians and Odias alike. Subhasish Nayak, an Odia youngster, has done them proud by taking part in the historic launch on Friday aboard a Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM-3) rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
His journey from Kendrapara in Odisha to ISRO is very amazing and has inspired millions. Subhasish, who was born and raised in the hamlet of Mukundpur in the Derabish district of Kendrapara, attended the Dohali Banamali Brahmachari Model High School. Despite coming from a modest home, he was able to dream big, and today he has proven his mettle.
He enrolled in an ITI course after graduating from high school to pursue his aspiration of becoming a technician. He continued his education at CTTC after that, and in 2018 he made his village proud by being chosen for ISRO. Subhasish put in a lot of effort, and it eventually paid off. In just four years, he rose to the position of core member of the Chandrayaan-3 Project due to his unwavering commitment to doing challenging job. He worked on the project as a mechanical engineer, and his accomplishments have given honor to Odisha. The residents of Subhasish’s village are ecstatic about him, proud of his accomplishments, and convinced that he will accomplish great things in the future.
