Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the online portal of Fire Services Department ‘Odisha Agni-Shama Seva’. These online portal wills facilitate the issuance of fire safety certificates to different categories of building in the state.
The online portal allows users to restrict their physical visits to the government offices to get the required approvals. With this Odisha Agni-Shama Seva online portal, the users will log onto the website and seek their certificate on a real-time basis.
CM said, “This is a priority area of my government under 5T Initiatives that aim at bringing Transformation in governance through parameters of Technology, Teamwork, Transparency and Time”.
The CM also informed that eight other vital services would be available to the people through this online portal which will help to assist different segments of the building.
These eight services can be availed by the citizens online, which include Fire Safety Certificates for high-rise buildings, multiplexes, shopping malls, and clinical establishments.
These online portal services to the general public is a significant step forward in providing chaos free services to the public where there will be no confusion for them.
There are some other services which will be available on this online portal in the next phrase 2nd October 2020. This services will help the people to get the most of the Fire Services Department related works accomplished online.
The State Energy Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra also praised the work done by the State Service Department for rendering their services during disasters.
Even during the Cyclone Amphan the department gave their hundred per cent efforts and helped the neighbouring state. He further added that it would be developed into a multi-sectoral response force in the days to come.
