As directed by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Secretary to the Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian visited Jagatsinghpur district today to examine the status of different development projects in the district and to address public concerns. He visited Siali Sea Beach in Ersama block and promised that steps to avoid soil erosion under the Siali Sea Beach Conservation Project, which would cost Rs 40 crores, will be prioritized.
He referred to the Super Cyclone and the destruction it caused in Ersama Block, which prompted Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to vow to enhance Odisha’s disaster management system. Pandian communicated with the public, accepted complaints, and ensured that they were addressed in a timely manner. He went to Mission Shakti Port Side Container Sales & Café in Paradeep and spoke with the Mission Shakti working groups.
Additionally, Secretary 5T praised the creative Mission Shakti concept, gave the group members encouragement, and pledged government assistance for the expansion of the marketing facility. Then Pandian went to the Biju Convention Center in Paradeep, where he spoke with WSHG members of the Paradeep ULB, the local populace, and others. He heard their complaints and promised that they will be resolved quickly. In his interactions with the students during his visit to ITI, Paradeep stressed the need of placement for graduates as well as skill-based practical learning.
Additionally, he went to Jiban Jyoti Terracotta Producer Group in Fatepur, Kujanga Block, where he spoke with the group’s members and expressed his admiration for the numerous consumer goods being produced. Pandian performed puja at the Kunjabihari Temple in Gadakujanga and spoke with sebayats, temple committee members, and members of the local community on the creation of a DPR for the development of the Temple and its pilgrimage amenities.
