Majhi stated that states had been urged to operate in a “Team India” manner, alluding to the meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi called with Chief Ministers on March 27. In light of the changing circumstances, he emphasized the necessity of coordinated effort and a cohesive strategy. In order to stop the spread of false information and fear, the Chief Minister also instructed officials to take strong action against rumors and to keep a careful eye on social media sites. He explained that district and state-level Crisis Management Groups had been established and emphasized the necessity of cooperation to ensure consistent deliveries of necessities.
