Odisha CM Launches 32 Industrial Projects Worth Rs 6,993 Crore

During a video conference program today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched nine industrial projects and conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for twenty-three industrial units.

Spread throughout 14 districts (Bolangir, Boudh, Cuttack, Ganjam, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Khurda, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur, Subarnapur, and Sundergarh), these projects have a total investment of Rs 6992.94 Crore and a potential for 24,508 jobs.The Hon. Chief Minister, speaking on this occasion, stated: “We are adding new and employment-intensive industries to our portfolio, like the production of renewable energy equipment, textiles, tourism, etc. Odisha has been able to draw in investments thanks in large part to the state’s consistently improving Ease of Doing Business score, as well as its business-friendly atmosphere, top-notch industrial infrastructure, and in-demand skill development programs.

The Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction with the state’s industrialization’s broadening, pointing out that the 32 projects are distributed over 14 districts. Senior government officials, representatives of these industries, and the ministers of industries, MSME, and energy attended the video conference ceremony.
