To supplement technical manpower and provide better healthcare services, the State Government of Odisha has created 11,292 Nursing Officer positions.
The decision was made to fill the newly created positions in stages.
As a result, the State Government directed the Director of Nursing on Thursday to file a requisition with the OSSSC (Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission) for the recruitment of 7413 Nursing Officers against the newly created posts.
These steps are expected to benefit thousands of aspiring candidates with a degree or diploma in the course.
“With the addition of this massive technical manpower, healthcare service in healthcare institutions such as District Headquarters Hospitals, Medical Colleges, and hospitals throughout the state will improve significantly,” the Health Department stated.
