Public health institutes are required to remove their campus medicine stores, under an order from the Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department.
Shalini Pandit, the secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, wrote a letter on Thursday to the following people: the superintendent/dean and principal of the MKCG MCH in Behampur; the director of VIMSAR in Burla; and the CDM&PHOs in Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Bolangir, Cuttack, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Koraput, Malkangiri, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Puri, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Sundargarh, and Nuapada. The notice provided a period of 15 days for Campus Medicine Shops to vacate the premises.
The states that all pending dues as per the last executed licence agreements have also to be recovered. It has been further directed to take all possible steps per law to recover possession of the premises immediately after the 15-day period expires.
