With the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination scheduled for next month, the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has released Pariksha Darpan, a model question bank for students appearing for the exam. Sources said the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has prepared the question bank, which includes sample questions along with scoring keys for different subjects.
OSEPA State Project Director Ananya Das on Tuesday directed all District Education Officers (DEOs) to ensure free distribution of soft copies of the book to schools in their respective jurisdictions. The 400-page compilation covering all subjects is aimed at helping students prepare effectively for the crucial examination and easing exam-related stress. She added that hard copies of the book will soon be made available at district-level distribution points.
The matriculation examination is scheduled to be held from February 19 to March 2. The BSE has decided to conduct the examinations daily from 9 am to 11.30 am, with an additional 15 minutes allotted for the mathematics paper scheduled on March 2. The practical examinations for vocational trades will be conducted on February 22.
Meanwhile, the Madhyama Sanskrit and State Open School examinations will be held concurrently with the HSC examination.
