This is the fifth consecutive day that Odisha has registered over 10k daily positive COVID cases. However, there has been a marginal decline from the daily COVID positive cases from the day before. Odisha on Sunday registered 11,177 cases. However, on Monday as per the reports of the health department, the state has witnessed a slight decline in daily COVID positive cases with 10,489 new Covid-19 infections.

Maximum cases were recorded in Khordha district with 2,934 cases, followed by Sundergarh (1447), Cuttack (786), and Balasore (433).
Other districts cases include- Sambalpur (387), Mayurbhanj (383), Rayagada (253), Bolangir (238), Jharsuguda (225), Jagatsinghpur (207), Puri (198), Jajpur (195), Nayagarh (193), Bargarh (166), Kalahandi (163), Sonepur (163), Koraput (162), Nabarangpur (159), Angul (158), Bhadrak (118), Gajapati (109), Nuapada (108), Keonjhar (105), Ganjam (92), Kendrapara (90), Boudh (85), Dhenkanal (70), Kandhamal (56), Malkangiri (55), Deogarh (44) and State (707).
Two deaths have been reported so far in the last 24 hours. One person was from Bhubaneshwar and the other person was from the Angul district.
