Ace sprinter Dutee Chand was allegedly caught violating COVID guidelines by participating in the immersion ceremony of Goddess Khudurkuni in Odisha’s Jajpur district.
As per the reports, Dutee Chand was among the hundreds of villagers of Chakagopalpur under Kuakhia police limits who were taking out a massive immersion ceremony of the goddess.
Further, the report added that village people were dancing the tunes of loud music of the DJ van. Later, the local police raided the area and found the villagers violating COVID guidelines of wearing masks and social distancing along with the limitation on large gatherings in public places was also violated.
In a viral video, it was witnessed that Dutee was trying to use her influence to stopover the police who were stopping the revellers and was trying to disperse them.
