The throngs of people waiting outside of Jan Seva Kendras all throughout the state to register their names are proof that women are more eager to take advantage of the Subhadra Yojana. In an effort to streamline and ease the application process, development commissioner and additional chief secretary Anu Garg, along with chief secretary Manoj Ahuja of Odisha, met on Sunday afternoon at the Odisha Computer Application Center (OKAC) to discuss this. Principal Secretaries of Women and Child Development Shubha Sharma, Information and Public Relations Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, Science and Technology Department Principal Secretary Chithra Arumugam, and Chief Secretary of Electronics and IT Division and Chairman OKAC Vishal Kumar Dev attended the meeting.
Since candidates can apply through the system rapidly, all technological aspects are being addressed right away. In order to enable applicants to submit forms promptly, the Chief Secretary placed emphasis on measures to streamline the application process and make the system more user-friendly, straightforward, and advanced. However, it was brought out at the conference that the Anganwadi workers’ assistance in providing the paperwork and assisting the applicants with the application process is very noteworthy.
Further, the District Magistrates were informed about the ease of use and simplification of the Subhadra scheme application procedure during a virtual conference conducted via videoconferencing at Lok Seva Bhawan. Despite Sunday being a holiday and the Nuakhai festival, the relevant officials moved to keep an eye on things and make the required preparations to ensure the system operated well. This process is currently ongoing.
