Odisha witnesses a sharp fall in daily new COVID positive cases. On Tuesday, as per the reports, 146 new cases were detected against 186 and 193 on Monday and Sunday respectively.
According to the I & PR department, 86 of the new infections are from quarantine and 60 local contacts. Among them, 25 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda at 72 was the only district to report cases in two-digit. Fourteen districts reported nil cases.
