A woman and her son hailing from Odisha have taken their lives after losing all their money in IPL betting. The mother-Son duo were from the Raygada district. They drank poison. While the mother Rajini died yesterday itself, the son Somesh died in hospital today morning.
On the other hand, it is alleged that some people were harassing the mother-son duo and pressuring them to pay money that they had lost in betting.
Besides, some people had allegedly turned up at their house to collect money three days back and had created a nuisance. They had also taken away some valuables from their house after locking them, alleged relatives.
