Odisha government’s ‘JAGA Mission-Phase 2’ has been shortlisted among the top 4 positions of Innovation Awards at the 8th Asia Pacific Housing Forum under the Public Policies category.
‘Jaga Mission’ is the world’s largest slum land settlement program by the Odisha government. In its 2nd phase, the mission aims to integrate urban poor settlements into the city fabric by up-gradation of basic facilities and services to ensure a liveable habitat for all.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the Housing & Urban Development Department for the achievement via Twitter.
He quoted- “Congratulate @HUDDepatOdisha as @TheJagaMission – Phase 2’ has been shortlisted among the top 4 positions of Innovation Awards at the 8th Asia Pacific Housing Forum under Public Policies category. There is a sustained effort to transform the slums into liveable habitats.
