After putting our lives on hold during the Coronavirus pandemic, many people have overdue their appointment in fear of getting the virus. Even though the process of vaccination is nearly coming positive, we are still unaware of when the whole world will be virus-free.
After recovering from the COVID-19, according to the report, some people are showing signs of chronic weakness or unexplained nerve damage, due to which patients have to retake the virus risk and have to visit the doctor all again. But Odisha Government has now launched an online registration system for ultrasound clinics not to risk their lives waiting for an appointment.
On Friday, the online application system for registration and renewal under the Pre-Conception & Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act (PC & PNDT) Act was inaugurated. Pradipta Mohapatra, Additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, was also presented during the inaugural and informed that Odisha is the first state in the country to launch this new and innovative system, which will help people to get the appointment with just one click. Mohapatra further asked all the collectors to roll out the online application in their respective districts.
The online application system for registration and renewal under the Pre-Conception & Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act (PC & PNDT) is developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This is termed the most user-friendly software that will help the appropriate monitor the registration and the renewal process. It will further also help to do the cross verification of the delay process and to review the average period that it takes to do the registration. Even the renewal and the correct maintenance of transparency in the registration of the ultrasound clinics will be authentic. For disposal of the registration and renewal of the application for the removal is 70 days.
The portal also allows tracking the application’s status so that it will help for the submission and payment of fees. The final certificate can be avail from the portal that can be accepted by the district authorities as valid.
