A Pakistani drone has been spotted in the Pathankot Bamial sector. The drone was spotted at the Dinda post in the Bamial sector at 9:10 a.m. today. The suspected drone returned after the BSF firing. Then search operations continue in the local area. A search operation is under way to determine if any weapons or ammunition were sent or to check if there was a BSF alert. This is not the first time this has happened. Such incidents are frequent on the Punjab border.
Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said on Saturday that there were about 200 terrorists active in the Union Territory. According to secret agency, another 250 terrorists are trying to infiltrate the militant camp across the border. Pointing to Pakistan, Dilbag Singh said the security forces were “fully alert” and “ready to thwart the efforts of neighboring countries to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir.”
Ahead of the inauguration of the sports competition to be held at the police headquarters in Jammu, the DGP said all necessary security arrangements would be put in place for the Amarnath pilgrimage, which starts on June 28.
