Participating in Nua-O Program in Phulbani, V.K. Pandian Examines Developmental Works

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V.K. Pandian to visit Kandhamal district in order to assess the state of various developmental projects in the district and engage with the local populace and students. In Phulbani Stadium in Kandhamal, he took part in the Nua-O Program and engaged with students from all of the college there. He talked to the students about how the Nua-O program gives kids a platform to show off their abilities and supports the development of their whole personalities in addition to their academic performance.

Pandian examined the development of the 650-bed Teaching Hospital and 100-seat Medical College at Phulbani, which came at a total cost of 655 Crs. He gave the officials instructions to finish the project on schedule. He also looked over additional district-wide major road and bridge projects, totaling 260 Cr. Afterwards, Pandian examined the district’s ongoing Mega PWS Projects, which are valued at a total of Rs. 630 Crs. and encompass the Balliguda, Tikabali, K. Nuagaon, Khajuripada, Phulbani, Phiringia, and Chakapada block.

A few of the projects were started following Pandian’s prior visit to the Kandhamal District, where he participated in grievance meetings and solicited public input.
