PM Modi Says Parliament Security Breach ‘Very Serious’, Need To Probe Elements Behind It

The security breach that occurred in Parliament on December 13 has been described by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “sad and worrying.” He added that it’s critical to understand the causes of the incident and their goals.

Amidst opposition protests in Parliament, Modi stated that the gravity of the security breach in Parliament cannot be understated and demanded that there be no squabbling over the matter. It is important to acknowledge the seriousness of the incident that occurred in Parliament. As a result, Speaker Sir is seriously taking the required actions. The investigative agencies are conducting a rigorous investigation. Going into detail about the components and motivations behind this is equally important, according to Modi.

The prime minister stated that “squabbling or protesting over it should be avoided” and that it was “necessary to go into the depth of the matter so that a solution can be found.” The opposition has been pressuring Union Home Minister Amit Shah to make a statement in Parliament regarding the security lapse on December 13 that resulted in two individuals, carrying smoke canisters, leaping from the visitors’ gallery into the Lok Sabha chamber. Slogans were heard being chanted by both groups.
