PM Narendar Modi Likely To Visit Odisha Twice Next Month

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Odisha twice next month, on February 3 and February 10, with an eye toward the impending twin elections. Manmohan Samal, the head of the Odisha BJP, stated in a Sunday media statement that Prime Minister Modi would return to the state on February 10 to give a Mahila Samavesh speech. “Odisha and Madhya Pradesh will host two Mahila Samavesh events. The Prime Minister has agreed to attend, and February 10 is the tentative date for the event in Bhubaneswar. As soon as the program is finalized, we will be able to provide more details,” he stated.

It is anticipated that some 25,000 women from 14 states will attend the Samavesh, which is perceived as the BJP’s attempt to chip away at the BJD’s reliable voter base in the city.

On February 3, PM Modi is expected to travel to Sambalpur to attend an event at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) there. During this one-day tour, he is also expected to inaugurate certain projects and lay the foundation stones for others. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had also made hints earlier in the day that Prime Minister Modi may travel to coastal Odisha following his tour of the western area.
