Projects Worth Rs 2,794.47 Cr Okayed By SLSWCA, To Generate 4,715 Jobs

The 123rd State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, which took place today, represented a major advancement for Odisha’s industrial excellence. The SLSWCA approved 12 ground-breaking projects under the wise direction of Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, enhancing the State’s standing as a top investment destination. The State’s dedication to diversifying its industrial landscape across multiple sectors was on display at the 123rd SLSWCA meeting.

Significant support was given in the ESDM and semiconductor industries, enhancing Odisha’s capacity for manufacturing. A boost was given to the aluminum industry, highlighting the State’s emphasis on sustainable materials and modern manufacturing. The region’s abundant mineral resources and metallurgical know-how are highlighted by the sharp increase in approvals seen in the steel industry, both primary and downstream.

The gemstone industry became a top priority, demonstrating Odisha’s dedication to the production of diamonds and jewelry. Improvements were made in the food, beverage, and related industries, utilizing the State’s potential for food processing. The expansion of the tourism industry was promoted as a way to capitalize on Odisha’s natural and cultural assets. Seven districts were covered by these sectors, suggesting a broad approach to industrial development.

With a total investment of INR 2,794.47 crore, these projects are expected to create jobs for about 4,715 people, demonstrating the State’s steadfast commitment to sustainable development and job creation.

RIR Power Electronics Ltd committed to investing INR 510.80 crores in the semiconductor and ESDM sector to establish manufacturing, fabrication, and packaging facilities for silicon carbide devices and SIC modules. As a result, creating jobs for 206 people in Khordha, InfoValley.
