According to Public Health Director Dr. Niranjan Mishra, the dengue situation in the State is stable and there has not been an increase in the number of cases.
While 80–100 dengue cases are reported every day from Bhubaneswar, according to Dr. Mishra, a total of 200 cases are recorded from the rest of the State.
The Public Health Director provided data on the mosquito-borne viral disease, noting that 5,097 of the 68,620 samples tested positive for dengue on September 10 across the State.
The district of Khordha has the largest number of cases, 2,133, he continued.
