Rajnath Singh asks armed forces to help states in treating Covid 19 patients

With the help of the Indian Army, it will now be able to control the coronavirus. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has asked the army to provide medical facilities to the general public. Rajnath also directed senior army officers stationed in various states to contact the state chief minister and provide assistance.

A Defense Ministry official said Rajnath Singh had spoken to Army Chief MM Narwane. He has instructed army officials in the state to hold talks with the chief minister. According to sources, Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar was also present during the talks between Rajnath Singh and MM Narwane.

The Union Minister called for the treatment of the general public at the Army Hospital in the country’s containment zone. In addition, the Army will provide medical services to the public outside the Containment Zone. DRDO has already started a 250-bed hospital in Delhi. Which can be increased to 500 beds.

DRDO is also set to set up two Covid hospitals in Lucknow. A few days ago, DRDO said the hospital was inadequate. In view of this, every effort is being made to provide military medical facilities. Only young men and their families were being treated at the military hospital.
