A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for various Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Digital Transformation Services has been signed by M/s National Informatics Centre Services Inc. (NICSI), under National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, and the REC (formerly Rural Electrification Corporation Limited), a “Maharatna” company under the Ministry of Power.
The REC ecosystem will gain from this Memorandum of Understanding by making it easier to investigate cutting-edge technologies in rapidly developing fields like blockchain, cyber security, IoT, AI, and machine learning.
In New Delhi, Dr. Vinay Thakur, MD, of NICSI, and Sh. Pankaj Gupta, Sr.GM & HoD (IT) of REC Limited signed the relevant Memorandum of Understanding.
REC will be able to offer end-to-end NIC/NICSI software product deployment, hosting, core roll-out, technical support, security, services, system management, etc. through this partnership with NICSI.
