Senior Journalist Baishnab Charan Jena Passes Away

Jena, a Jajpur district native, had always upheld the dignity of journalism. He spoke English and Odia fluently and was an expert at Assembly reporting.

On Saturday, senior journalist and columnist Baishnab Charan Jena died of a heart attack. He was 68.

 

Jena, a Jajpur district native, had always upheld the dignity of journalism. He spoke English and Odia fluently and was an expert at Assembly reporting.

 

Prior to becoming a journalist, he worked as the Manager of a Gramya Bank in Koraput. Following his death, condolences poured in from all directions.
