It seems Shahid Kapoor and the production house of Jersey have now understood the mass appeal KGF2 and beast are bringing at PAN India level. Thereby, to not to compete against the two big budget PAN India movie, the makers of Jersey and Shahid Kapoor have agreed on the terms and have decided to postpone the movie by one week.
The decision has just come couple of days prior to the release of the movie. The movie which was scheduled to release on April 14th will now hit the theatres on April 21st. Earlier, Jersey was scheduled to release on 31st of December. However due to the third wave of COVID 19, the movie was postponed indefinitely.
Jersey is the official remake of the South movie with the same name. The remake movie starts Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur along with Pankaj Kapoor in pivotal roles.
