Single Window Clearance Authority Clears 9 New Industrial Projects Worth Over INR 873 Cr

At the 121st State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, held on August 21, 2023, the Government of Odisha’s unwavering dedication to promoting industrial growth hit a new high point. The SLSWCA authorized 9 new industrial projects, which are expected to accelerate the state’s economic trajectory and were steered under the astute leadership of Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena.

The government of Odisha and the business community continue to work together in harmony as these projects, with a total investment exceeding INR 873.57 Cr, are expected to open up new employment opportunities for 2,516 people, enhancing the State’s reputation as an investment magnet. Petronet LNG Limited’s Compressed Bio Gas and Fermented Organic Manure facility stands out among the projects gaining the SLSWCA’s approval. This project provides a combined benefit of chemical production and renewable energy with a 33,065 MT annual capacity. This project, which is in Deogarh, aims to change the surroundings.

With their proposal for a cutting-edge Plastic Faucet, Water Tank, Pipes, and Fittings manufacturing facility, Pearl Precision Products Pvt Ltd joins the group. Their ability to produce more than 30 million PCs annually demonstrates their dedication to quality. This project will be developed at Jagatsinghpur’s Paradeep Plastic Park. Indopet Polyplast Pvt. Ltd. plans to build an 8,000 MT high-capacity production facility for food-grade pet bottles, jars, and pre-forms in the plastics industry. This project, which is well situated in Khurda, has the potential to increase job possibilities and the caliber of plastic production.

With the approval of the extensive project by TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd, the auxiliary sector of the steel industry gains pace. This venture is situated in Jharsuguda and comprises of 57,000 MT basic raw material grinding unit, 11,700 MT monolithic raw material grinding unit, 8,900 MT high alumina raw material grinding unit, and 14,400 MT grog processing unit. The 14,400 MT Tap Hole Clay unit by Chosun Sarvesh Refractories Private Limited is another project in this sector that was approved by the SLSWCA. It would be situated in Sundergarh’s Kuanramunda. Chosun is a well-known maker of high-quality refractories based in South Korea.

By building a steel processing facility for HR & CR coil, Saizar Enterprise Private Limited enhances the steel (downstream) industry. This project, which is located at Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur, would increase the capacity for steel processing in Odisha.
