The convergence of industrial might and spiritual discipline took center stage as Shri Siba Prasad Mohanty, Chairman & Managing Director of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL), graced the 32nd Foundation Day of the Patanjali Yoga Trust as Chief Guest.
Mr. Mohanty, a titan of India’s fertilizer sector, brought a unique narrative to the dais: the intrinsic link between the health of the nation’s soil and the soul of its citizens. As the leader of HURL, which secures India’s food security through “Urvarak” (fertilizer), his presence highlighted a powerful synergy—nourishing the land through science and the body through “Yog.”
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Mohanty paralleled the discipline required to revive mega-fertilizer plants with the personal discipline of Yoga. He lauded the Trust’s three-decade journey in democratizing wellness, noting that a “Samruddh Bharat” (Prosperous India) is impossible without a “Swasth Bharat” (Healthy India).
His visit bridged the gap between the engine room of India’s economy and the sanctuary of its culture, reminding all that true national strength lies in balancing agricultural self-reliance with holistic well-being.
