IMFA Managing Director Subhrakant Panda has been elected as the Vice-President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).
Subhrakant Panda becomes the first Odia industrialist to hold a national leadership position in FICCI. This is the largest and apex business organization in India and a very proud moment for the people of Odisha. He is the first Chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) of Odisha’s chapter and also held other significant positions like Chairman of Federation of National Manufacturing Committee.

Along with such reputed positions, Panda was also the president of Paris based International Chromium Development Association (ICDA) and International Chamber of Commerce (India Chapter)
The National Executive Committee of FICCI met on Monday at Delhi, where Uday Shankar took over as President from Dr. Sangita Reddy, while Sanjiv Mehta was elected Senior Vice-President.
