Subroto Bagchi was been named chief advisor to the government for institutional capacity building across all of the state’s civil services training institutions by chief minister Naveen Patnaik. According to a press statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) this evening, he has been accorded the title and position of a Cabinet Minister.
Bagchi formerly worked for the State as the head of the Odisha Skill Development Authority.
In his new position, Bagchi will seek to bring the Civil Services Training Institutions up to par with the best in the world by developing a futuristic vision for them.
He will give these organizations a clear direction for developing the leadership skills of State employees at both entry-level and in-service levels.
