Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand Santa Claus with an installation of Red Roses and other flowers with the message “Merry Christmas, Enjoy your Christmas with COVID guidelines.
Every year this internationally acclaimed sand artist always tries something new which mesmerizes the viewers. This year on the eve of Christmas he created a 50 ft long and 28 ft wide sand sculpture of Santa Claus with the installation of about 5400 red roses and some white flowers. He took eight hours for carving and two days for preparation and completed the sculpture with help of his Sudarsan Sand Art Institute’s students.

According to the official reports, Pattnaik stated that the third wave of Covid-19 has already started worldwide and they have created this sculpture where the Santa is spreading a message of the Covid-19 guidelines. He further stated that he hopes that he will set a new record. Many of his sand sculptures are placed in the Limca Book of World records.

Pattnaik from his official Twitter page shared the pictures along with the quote- “ #MerryChristmas My Biggest Sand with rose installation Art of 50ft long and 28ft wide #SantaClaus by using 5400 roses, at Puri beach in Odisha.Hope this will set a new world record.”
