TDP-JSP-BJP Alliance Can’t Stop Jagan, Says YSRCP

In Andhra Pradesh, where the BJP is expected to form an alliance with the TDP-JSP, the ruling YSR Congress warned on Friday that no matter how united the parties are, they won’t be able to prevent Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy from winning another election. The YSR Congress General Secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, said that the Telugu Desam-Jana Sena combines and the BJP’s ‘desperate’ attempts to ally demonstrate the former’ and the latter’s ‘weakness’. This comes amid claims of an agreement over seat-sharing.

“No matter what they do, we have the support of more than 50 per cent of people and hence even if they come together the victory is ours,” he told reporters here.

To discuss seat sharing, TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J. P. Nadda on Thursday in New Delhi. According to the leader of the YSRCP, the convergence of many parties demonstrates their shared characteristics.

“TDP is using a ventilator. There is no Jana Sena presence, and the number of votes the BJP received in the state is well known. People have realized their “failure politics,” according to Ramakrishna Reddy, “and after seeing all this, what the outcome of their alliance will be becomes clear.” He predicted that the opponent camp would witness more dissidence and infighting for seats in the coming days, claiming that the YSRCP is prepared for elections with clear plans and discipline and that other parties are like students who have not even started the preparations.
