Mega bookings for electric cars are set to begin soon. Tesla, the largest U.S. company, is bringing high-speed electric cars to the public. Elon Musk’s Tesla electric car will also be available in India. The car is expected to be available in the Indian market in June 2021.
According to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, bookings for the car could start in January. The company is also rumored to be making its debut in India through the Sedan Model-3. According to a report in the Economic Times, Tesla’s model will cost between Rs 55 lakh and Rs 60 lakh in the Indian market. You have to pay Rs 73,000 for booking.
Company CEO Elon Musk also tweeted about it. In a tweet in October, Musk said the company would enter India in 2021. According to reports, Tesla is planning to set up a Research and Development Facility in India. Bookings are set to begin in January, with Tesla’s electric car set to launch in 2021.
