Netflix movie ‘The White Tiger’ which stars Adarsh Gaurav in the lead role along with Rajkummar Rao and Priyanka Chopra has been nominated for the Academy (Oscar0 Award this year.
The critically acclaimed movie already created a buss as it successfully grabbed seven BAFTA nominations across the top categories — Best Film, Best Director, Adapted Screenplay, Leading Actor, Supporting Actress, Cinematography and Editing.
Writer-director Ramin Bahrani of The White Tiger has been nominated in the Best Adapted Screenplay category at the upcoming 93rd Academy Award.
As per the report actors Rajkummar Rao and Priyanka Chopra announced the Oscar nominations. “We are nominated for the #OSCARS Congratulations #RaminBahrani and team #TheWhiteTiger,” wrote Rajkumar on social media.
Priyanka Chopra expressed her happiness on Instagram where she quoted- “We just got nominated for an Oscar! Congratulations Ramin and team #TheWhiteTiger. Somehow announcing the nomination myself made it so much more special. So so proud”
