This year, visitors to Cuttack, Baliyatra, will have the chance to experience the one-of-a-kind sensation of walking through the ocean. A private organisation based in Cuttack intends to erect an underwater tunnel aquarium on the Mahanadi riverbank during the eight-day Bali Yatra. This year’s massive trade show will mark the first time such an arrangement has been made.

Visitors will enjoy seeing a variety of marine life in the walk-through tunnel aquarium. The 200-foot-long by 60-foot-wide tunnel aquarium will host an exhibition featuring over a thousand species of marine fish. Visitors will be drawn in by the colorful fish, octopuses, jellyfish, and small sharks. It will provide a singular opportunity to get up close and personal with both freshwater and marine fish.

Walking through the tunnel will feel like you are walking inside the sea. Siridi Saibaba Enterprises of Cuttack is going to make this kind of arrangement through a Chennai-based organisation. The work for the unique set-up will be started soon.
