Union Minister Hardeep Singh Receives Guru Granth Sahib At Delhi Airport, 3 Copies Flown From Kabul

Three copies of Guru Granth Sahib were flown to India from Kabul along with Indian citizens and 46 Afghan nationals as part of the government’s evacuation efforts from Afghanistan.

According to the reports, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri received copies of the Sikh Holy Scripture at the Delhi airport. He tweeted a video of him carrying one of the copies on his head with reverence, with two others carrying the other copies, and chanting “Satnam Shri Waheguru” and the Minister of State (MoS) External Affairs V Muraleedharan were also present.

The report further added that a special Air Force flight flew the evacuees from the Afghanistan capital to Tajikistan’s Dushanbe and an Air India flight with 78 passengers, including 25 Indian citizens, landed in New Delhi. Now the total number of people brought back to Delhi has gone up to around 730.
