KOCHI: Thiruvananthapuram- Kasargod Vande Bharat Express Halted  at  8:55  a.m. Today. This Incident took place while the train was Between Kalamassery and Aluva Station. The Smoke was detected At c5 Cabin, and the passengers are shifted to nearby coach and Unscheduled stopped Happened.

 

Public Relation Officer of Thiruvananthapuram division stated that: The smoke emerged after the fire Extinguishing System kept inside the lavatory. ” The System has set off to go off on even slight detection of fire, Through passenger initially suspected leak from the air conditioning unit”. The smoke emerges as the automatic activation of fire extinguisher inside the toilet, Railways Clarified That. But the Public Relation Officer of Thiruvananthapuram division further added that more Details are yet to come after a complete analytical work will happen with the CCTV Footage Inside the Coach, PRO of Thriuvananthapuram division, Added.

 

When the smoke was detected inside the c5 Cabin. All the passengers were evacuated and also shifted to nearby coach.After a clear check-up to negate any short of fire or gas leaks, there after the train was cleared for the journey.

At 9:20 the train left Aluva station, in Today Morning He further stated.
