From October 31 to November 6,2022, NTPC Talcher Kaniha observed Vigilance Awareness Week. The theme of this year’s vigilance awareness week was “Corruption-Free India for a Developed Nation.”
Employees gathered at the power station’s Administrative Building on the first day of Vigilance Awareness Week. The pledge was administered on the occasion by Shri Ashok Kumar Sehgal, General Manager (Maintenance). Later, employees took the e-pledge by logging into the website of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
During the weekly celebration, the power station’s Vigilance Department held various activities for employees, housewives, school students, CISF staffs, and Associates such as slogan competitions, quiz competitions, elocution competitions, poster/drawing completions, and so on. A workshop on preventive vigilance is also being held by the HOD.
Banners/posters commemorating Vigilance Awareness Week were displayed in prominent locations throughout the power station for wider distribution.
