On February 17 to February 19, 2023, XIM University (New Campus), in Odisha, held its annual Cultural Management Fest, “Xamboree,” organised by EVOS. The purpose of Xamboree was to bring the Xavier Fraternity and other groups together by fostering a sense of community via activities in the arts, sports, and business. The Steering Committee of XIM University, or “XSTEC,” arranged and supervised the event altogether.
Day 1: February 17, 2023
Samay Raina, one of India’s most well-known stand-up comedians, launched Xamboree by serving as the event’s opening artist. The pupils were able to experience joy, laughing, and enthusiasm as a result.
Day 2 of February 18, 2023

The second day of Xamboree was highlighted by an exciting evening featuring Lost Tales rhythms. But King’s performance energised the event with its own intensity. The second day at XIM University was the ideal fusion of activities organised by several schools and committees to use these venues to display intellectual curiosity and creativity. The actions taken were:
Battle it Out: Street-Style Dancing Competition; Sonix: Battle of Bands; Footloose: Group Dance Competition; Riddilonomics: Economics Quiz Event; The Spectrum: Chromatica; ProAct: HR Rapid Fire Quiz; Youth Parliament: Simulated Parliamentary discussion; Pehchan: Stalls by SHG women; FIFA
Day 3 of February 19, 2023

Due to its energising rhythms, DJ Aceaxe’s party music improved the youth’s enthusiasm. Yo Yo Honey Singh, the evening’s megastar, performed after that. His raps and melodies had created an iconic ambiance in Bhubaneswar for the first time. On the other hand, the university kept up with various activities all day long, generating anticipation for the evening. The following activities took place on Xamboree’s last day:

Querka: General Knowledge Quiz; BullsEye: Financial Quiz and Mock Trade; Pratiroopan: Ceramics Workshop; XSHOTS: Cinema Screening; Origami: Fictional Character pitching; Tamasha: Street Play Competition
Futsal, Spardha, Dhwani, and Runway Roll are competitions for fashion shows and solo singing, respectively.
Meanwhile, XIM University welcomed some of Bhubaneswar’s top eateries at its Annual Cultural Management Fest, which successfully wrapped off Xamboree 3.0 with a huge turnout and a lot of energy. We appreciate the support of all the Xamboree media outlets and sponsors. We appreciate the efforts and collaboration of the administration, organising committee, faculty, students, and our supporting personnel.
The event was attended by a great number of people, who were all having fun. Many colleges and universities have also participated in various competitions. The security arrangements were pretty good, and there were several volunteer teams who assisted and coordinated with the visitors perfectly.
