Chief Guest, Shri. Prafulla Samal, Honorary Member of Parliament of Odisha, who was the chief guest. Reflecting its commitment to excellence and quality, the university has instituted a Scholarship Programme specifically tailored to support academically outstanding students for their undergraduate studies. These financial resources serve to empower students, providing them with the means to excel academically and lay the groundwork for successful careers.
This year, the University was proud to offer scholarships to 136 students out of all the students enrolled in 10 undergraduate courses from 08 different schools. The total value of scholarships offered was more than 1.20 crore rupees.
The occasion was graced by two Members of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Govt. of Odisha. Shri. Prafulla Samal, Hon’ble Member of Odisha Legislative Assembly as the Chief Guest for the ceremony, expressed that the mantra for success and a good life is to “Embrace Growth, Pursue Excellence and Lead with Integrity”. Shri. Rudra Pratap Maharathy, Hon’ble Member of Odisha Legislative Assembly who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor aptly stated that “Education is not preparation for life; Education is life itself.”
Among other distinguished personalities present were Fr. Antony R. Uvari, S.J., Vice – Chancellor, XIM University Bhubaneswar, Fr. S. Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar, XIM University Bhubaneswar, Fr. V. Arokiyadass, S.J, Chief Finance Officer, XIM University Bhubaneswar and Chairperson of the UG Scholarship Committee, XIM University along with the Academic Deans, faculty, and staff members of the University.
The concluding vote of thanks by Fr. S. Antony Raj, S.J. acknowledged the collective efforts and commitment of the University in nurturing a supportive learning environment and ensuring equity in educational outcomes.
