Interview Times Bhubaneswar: School of Human Settlements (SHS), XIM University is to host its annual urban conclave, SAMAVESH’21 on 23rd, 24th, and 25th September. The theme for the Conclave is ‘Transforming Cities: Striving towards Resilient Urban Systems.’ The event is brought by HabituX- The Student Association of SHS and in collaboration with CAS-SHS, which have been consistently doing an extraordinary job of getting reputed personalities and esteemed leaders from the industry enlightening the students through their insights and offering students an opportunity to discuss with the panelists on various urban issues by fostering greater interaction between the industry and academia that enriches the students about the needs and demands of the industry in the urban domain world.
The conclave is going to highlight the ways to protect our urban environment and making our cities resilient, well-equipped to deal with natural and artificial events, absorbing the effect of a wide range of economic, environmental, and social dangers. Restoration, reuse, and effective generation can also curb the risk of mass species extinctions and future pandemics.
Through this theme, they look forward to seeking knowledge in solutions and ideas to manage and build cities for the future, which are resilient, sustainable, and safe for city inhabitants.
