On March 16, 2022, XIM University successfully held its 2nd Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for undergraduate students. To further its commitment to excellence, the University has established a Scholarship Program for worthy, meritorious, and academically exceptional undergraduate students.
Through these scholarship programs, XIM University makes education accessible to all qualified and motivated students seeking financial support to further their studies and overall development. It gives students the opportunity to continue their studies without financial restraints. Scholarships help worthy students afford higher education. With this goal in mind, the University invests a significant amount of money each year to help deserving students advance in their jobs and in life. The University offered this scholarship to 156 students in the first and second years of their undergraduate degrees. For this great purpose, the University invested around INR 1.05 crores. The University also thanks South Indian Bank Pvt. Ltd. for generously providing four scholarships to our students.
Fr. Antony R. Uvari, S.J., Vice-Chancellor of XIM University, presided over the event. Fr. A.C. Jesurajan, S.J., Professor Emeritus, was the Guest of Honour. Fr. V. Arokiyadass, S.J., Special Guests from South Indian Bank Pvt. Ltd., Chief Finance Officer and Chairperson of the UG Scholarship Committee, XIM University, and Fr. S. Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar, XIM University, were among the other notable personalities present, along with the Academic Deans and faculty members of the University.
Fr. Antony R. Uvari, S.J., Vice-Chancellor, XIM University, addressed the event with his golden words that in life, one should constantly aspire high and seek greatness and the greater good. He emphasized that the university is committed to providing high-quality education, which is ingrained in the university’s value system.
Fr. V. Arokiyadass, S.J., Chief Finance Officer and Chairperson of the UG Scholarship Committee, XIM University, emphasized the importance of the scholarship and praised the Vice-Chancellor for this effort that would aid brilliant students in their pursuit of a decent education.
Finally, the celebration came to a happy conclusion with a vote of appreciation from Fr. S. Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar, XIM University, in which he congratulated everyone for making the event a success. He thanked the deserving students and recognized the contributions and efforts of the University students, teachers, and staff.
