17 major proposals approved by the Odisha Cabinet

On Friday, the Odisha Cabinet accepted 17 significant recommendations pertaining to several government ministries.

Allocation of Rs. 2808.39 crore for six years (fiscal years 2021–2026–2027) to ensure the efficient execution of the Odisha Millets Mission, a special initiative the government started in 2017.

The “Cyclone Resilient Saline Embankment Projects” programme, which will be carried out between FY:2022-23 and 2024–2025 with a budget of Rs.763.48 Crore, has been approved.

Using JJM funds, Mega Piped Water Supply Projects will supply the Dhenkanal District with clean drinking water. Around 322204 individuals from 271 villages under 71 GPs in 4 Blocks of the District would benefit from the projects’ execution.
